Kate Zinszer
She is the project lead, epidemiologist and Assistant Professor at School of Public Health, University of Montréal and Researcher at the Centre for Public Health Research. She is an expert in infectious disease epidemiology, surveillance, and intervention evaluation for emerging infectious diseases.
Caroline Quach
She is the project co-lead and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montréal, where she holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Infection Prevention and Control. She is the Chair of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization and physician in charge of the Infection Prevention and Control Unit at Sainte-Justine’s University Hospital.
Guy Boivin
Microbiologist and Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, Laval University. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Emerging Viruses and Antiviral Resistance, as well as a Foundation grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
Patricia Conrod
Psychologist and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Montréal. Her research team is based at Sainte-Justine’s University Hospital where she holds a Tier 1 Canadian Research Chair in Preventive Mental Health and Addiction. She has extensive experience working with youth and schools in Montréal.
Gaston De Serres
Epidemiologist and Chief Physician of the scientific immunization group at the Institut National de Santé Publique du Québec (INSPQ).
Marie-Ève Hamelin
Lab coordinator and microbiologist at the University Hospital of Québec and involved with several SARS-CoV-2 serological studies.
Jesse Papenburg
Pediatric infectious disease specialist and medical microbiologist at Montréal Children’s Hospital and member of the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force. He is also an Assistant Professor at McGill University, Department of Pediatrics.
Monica Zahreddine
Study coordinator, previously coordinated a seroprevalence study on dengue fever. She has extensive experience working with infectious diseases in Brazil, notably with vulnerable populations.
Alexandre Apostolatos
Second-year medical student at the University of Montréal. He has contributed to various support projects in vulnerable communities at home and abroad, and worked in COVID-19 red zones in the summer of 2020 as a support aid.
Noémie Bourque
Master’s student in global health at the School of Public Health, University of Montréal and also trauma nurse at Sacré-Cœur Hospital. She worked as a nurse in the COVID-19 unit during the first wave of the pandemic in spring 2020.
Adrien Saucier
Master student in epidemiology at the School of Public Health, University of Montréal, Adrien Saucier is especially interested in the social and environmental determinants of health. For EnCORE, he monitors recruitment targets and works on logistical aspects of the study.
Ashley Savard
She recently obtained a Master’s degree in global health from the University of Montréal’s School of Public Health. She is also working for the Montréal Regional Public Health Department doing contact tracing for homeless people who have COVID-19.
Britt McKinnon
Social epidemiologist focused on maternal, child and adolescent health and well-being and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
Laura Pierce
Study research assistant, and a master’s student in public health at the School of Population and GlobalHealth, McGill University.
Niki Fonseca
Graduated from the master’s in global health of the Public Health School of the University of Montréal, Niki Fonseca Saint-Cyr is the director of La Voliere Educational Daycare. She has a background in commerce and has contributed to various community projects internationally.
Islem Cheriet
Master’s student in public health with a focus on global health at the School of Public Health of the University of Montreal. She is also the president of the Communauté Étudiante de Santé Mondiale (CÉSM) and has worked as a physiotherapist locally and internationally in the humanitarian field.

Pediatrician with clinical and research expertise in surveillance and prevention in adolescent health. She is a Consulting Physician with Montréal’s Regional Public Health Department as well as a Clinical Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Montréal and an Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine, McGill University.
Isabelle Laurin
Researcher at Montréal’s Regional Public Health Department with her research largely focusing on families and young children. She is also a Clinical Professor at the School of Public Health, University of Montréal.
